Let It Snow: PepsiCo Celebrates the Start of Vail Resorts’ Winter Season

Thursday, November 15, 2012

The long wait for snowboarders and skiers is over as winter season kicks off at Vail Resorts – a 20-year PepsiCo partner. The company’s iconic Vail Mountain is celebrating its 50th anniversary season, and snowboarders and skiers from all over the world will flock to experience its world-class runs laced with fresh powder. Vail Resorts includes more than just Colorado meccas Vail, Breckenridge, Keystone and Beaver Creek, but also encompasses Heavenly Ski Resort, Kirkwood and Northstar Ski Resorts in Lake Tahoe, California. The resort has become famous for hosting global winter sports events, including the upcoming Burton U.S. Open and Alpine Skiing World Championships in 2015.

For more than two decades, PepsiCo beverages have been the exclusive soft drink, sports fuel and bottled water of Vail Resorts - serving beverages such as Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Gatorade, Aquafina and Naked Juice. PepsiCo is also the preferred food supplier with its Frito-Lay, Quaker and Sabra brands.

This winter, Mountain Dew’s annual Dew Tour will take over Vail Resorts’ Breckenridge, Colorado property for four days filled with ski and snowboarding competitions, live music, giveaways, games and pro-athlete appearances. If you can’t make the trip to Breckenridge, you can still experience all action at Dew Tour on dewtour.com.

Congratulations to Vail on reaching this important milestone! For more information on booking a Vail Resort vacations, please visit snow.com.
