The World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting draws approximately 2,500 leaders from business, government and civil society to Davos, Switzerland. The 2011 theme, “Shared Norms for the New Reality,” addressed concerns among leaders today – living in a world that is becoming increasingly complex and interconnected while simultaneously experiencing an erosion of common values and principles.

Participants from PepsiCo’s executive leadership team, included: Indra Nooyi, Chairman and CEO, PepsiCo; Zein Abdalla, CEO PepsiCo Europe; Sanjeev Chadha, President, Middle East and Africa region; John Compton, CEO PepsiCo Americas Foods; and Mehmood Khan, CEO Global Nutrition Group and Chief Scientific Officer.

Indra Nooyi spoke on panels including “Russia’s Next Steps to Modernization” and “The Future of Enterprise.” PepsiCo executives spoke on panels and plenary sessions, such as “Collaborative Pathways for a Water Secure Future”; “Healthy Living: How to Reverse Stress and Sedentary Lifestyles”; and “Leveraging public-private investment to achieve a new vision for agriculture.”
