Pepsi MAX gives fans the opportunity to take the field with baseball greats in Field of Dreams program

Play ball! Pepsi MAX, the official soft drink of Major League Baseball, is giving fans the opportunity of a lifetime – the chance to take the field with MLB Legends in the Pepsi MAX Field of Dreams program.

For the 2012 season, Pepsi MAX is re-launching the program and will chose two consumer winners – one to represent the American League (AL) and one to represent the National League (NL). Now through June 15, baseball fans across the country can go to MLB.com/PepsiMAX to cast votes for players on the AL and NL Pepsi MAX MLB Field of Dreams ballots and be entered for the chance to play with their favorite baseball legends in an AL vs. NL match-up next spring. 

“We know Pepsi MAX fans are passionate about sports, and for the second straight year we are excited to offer a program that provides a once-in-a-life time experience for our avid and casual fans alike,” said Mark Rooks, senior director of sports marketing - Pepsi.

Last year’s winner, Columbus, Ohio, resident Tim Wisecup, will play against MLB legends such as Johnny Bench, Reggie Jackson and Frank Thomas in his hometown on May 12 in front of family, friends and the community.
