The Pepsi brand recently received the United Arab Emirates (UAE) "Superbrand of the Year" award at the 8th Annual Superbrands Tribute, held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Dubai.
The award recognizes the brand that scores highest in the annual Superbrands voting survey of more than 2,500 marketing professionals in the UAE.
"Pepsi beat Dubai Duty Free -- which has held this title for two consecutive years -- along with 54 other UAE leading brands for this honor," said Mike English of Superbrands Middle East.
The Superbrand of the Year event is attended by senior business, marketing and commercial executives -- and is nicknamed the "Oscars of Branding" in the UAE.
“Pepsi has been a very strong performer in this market for many years -- and it continues to build on its strengths despite increasing competition in its market," said Mike. “Congratulations to Team Pepsi on this feat -- and we wish the company even more success in the coming years."
