PepsiCo Brazil's social media strategies gain consumer recognition

Recently, PepsiCo and Pepsi Brazil's Facebook pages reached a record number of fans. In less than 30 days, the PepsiCo Brazil page increased more than 600 percent -- from 7,000 to 100,000 fans. The increasing figure demonstrates the success of the company's social media outreach and popularity of its products with consumers. The page, created for those who want to stay on top of everything that happens at PepsiCo Brazil, includes Performance with Purpose stories, brand news, promotions, trivia and more.

Additionally, Pepsi Brazil recently launched a campaign on Facebook in partnership with a Brazilian family made popular by a humorous video on YouTube. The family’s original video was viewed more than 14 million times. When recently launched on Facebook, the video invited viewers to visit the Pepsi Brazil page. As a result, in nine days the Pepsi Brazil Facebook page reached more than 500,000 fans and a new video staring the same family was launched.
