The students attended a presentation on PepsiCo's Talent Sustainability strategy, D&I commitments and career development philosophy. In the last three years, approximately 30 students have benefited from work placements within the PepsiCo Italy Market Unit, and more than 60 percent of them have gone on to obtain full-time roles. This commitment has been recognised by the HR benchmarking organisation the CRF Institute, which has presented PepsiCo Italy with the Top Employer accreditation for the last two years.
Dario Zangrandi, chief financial officer - PepsiCo Italy, led the student event with the help of colleagues Luca Romano, Alessia Lupi and Eleonora Pagani.
“It was a very stimulating and constructive experience for both parties," said Dario. "Our aim was to give a complete picture both from a macro perspective and at an operational level, describing the job of each team including planning, controlling and sales administration. The feedback we received from the students was very positive and I think we have all benefitted from the experience."
