PepsiCo bottler CABCORP recognized with prestigious International Bottler of the Year Award

On June 21, CABCORP was announced as the winner of PepsiCo's prestigious International Bottler of the Year Award, at a ceremony in Barcelona, Spain. The Guatemalan-based bottler, which delivered outstanding results while showing its commitment to Performance with Purpose in 2011, was one of three finalists for the award, which also included SIPCO from Saudi Arabia and Britvic from the U.K.

The Bottler of the Year Awards have been part of PepsiCo's international business for over 25 years. Each year, PepsiCo's three international regions -- AMEA, Europe and Latin America -- select their top performing bottler to compete for the prize.

The award ceremony, hosted by PepsiCo AMEA CEO Saad Abdul-Latif, was attended by PepsiCo leaders from across the globe, including Chairman and CEO Indra Nooyi

"The International Bottler of the Year Awards are an opportunity to recognize our most outstanding bottling partners around the world," said Indra. "Through their vision and best-in-class execution, they are helping to drive PepsiCo's success every day, in every region in which we operate."

"Many congratulations to CABCORP," said Andy Williams, senior vice president and general manager, Franchise Centre of Excellence - PepsiCo, who organized the event. "The team in Central America has done a great job and deserves this recognition."

Nearly 200 franchise managers from across PepsiCo attended the ceremony, which followed a three-day Franchise Centre of Excellence Conference, during which managers shared best practices about PepsiCo's bottler network.
