Tropicana U.S. is launching Tropicana Farmstand, a chilled fruit and vegetable juice that targets moms who are looking to provide tasty vegetable servings for their families. With the Global Nutrition Group (GNG) exploring long-range solutions and opportunities in the fruit and vegetable category worldwide, Tropicana Farmstand is the product of a strong collaboration between the GNG and the Tropicana U.S. team.

Tropicana Farmstand provides one serving of fruit plus one serving of vegetables in each eight-ounce glass. It is also an excellent source of Vitamins A and C and a good source of potassium. With flavors including Peach Mango, Strawberry Banana and Pomegranate Blueberry, Tropicana Farmstand provides convenient options that help busy moms with the daily battle of getting enough vegetable servings for their kids.

“It’s widely known that consumers are not getting enough fruits and vegetables in their diets and that on-the-go lifestyles and taste play a big part in this reality,” said Vincent Prolongeau, senior vice president, Fruit and Vegetables, GNG. “Tropicana Farmstand provides a perfect balance of fruit and vegetable juice and nutrition with an incredible taste.”

The national launch is slated for January and will be supported with television, print, digital and in-store advertising, as well as extensive sampling to drive trial. According to Memo Maquivar, Tropicana chief marketing officer, there is currently nothing like Tropicana Farmstand in the chilled juice aisle, and customers can’t wait to get the product on shelf in order to meet consumer demand.
