When Cheetos brought back its most-requested flavor, Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle Crunchy — and introduced a spicy new sidekick, Puffs — going subtle wasn’t an option. Instead, the brand cranked the volume all the way up.

After earning the title of fastest-selling limited-edition flavor in the brand’s history, Cheetos Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle came back to store shelves permanently earlier this year, alongside the just-launched Cheetos Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle Puffs. The new Puffs are the first 2026 Flamin’ Hot innovation made without colors or flavors from artificial sources, using plant-derived ingredients like paprika and radish for the signature red hue while still delivering the same great taste.

To celebrate the big return (and new arrival), the brand brought together another unexpected duo: three-time, Grammy award-winning superstar Megan Thee Stallion and famed rockers Nickelback, who teamed up for a fiery new music video.

The track, “Pickle’s Back,” reimagines Nickelback’s hit 2001 song “How You Remind Me” with a Megan Thee Stallion twist — and just like the mix of dill pickle and Cheetos Flamin’ Hot heat, the unexpected collaboration delivers must-see results. Helmed by visionary director Dave Meyers, the music video is as playfully outrageous as this mash-up demands: filled with high-tech heists, explosive car chases and towering waves of Flamin’ Hot Cheetle as Megan and Nickelback embark on a mission to bring the fan-favorite flavor back to the masses.

Megan — a previous Flamin’ Hot partner — was excited to play a part in the flavor’s big return.

“It was only right for the Hot Girl Coach to team up with Cheetos® to bring back the iconic, Flamin’ Hot® Dill Pickle flavor,” Megan says. “Everyone knows I love to stuff pickles with Cheetos Flamin’ Hot, so it’s really special to now be part of the campaign to relaunch one of my favorite combinations.”

Nickelback was also all-in on the flavor-packed remix. “We had a blast getting to parody one of our own songs and teaming up with Megan Thee Stallion to bring it back in a totally unexpected way. Seeing how passionate fans are about Cheetos and this flavor made it even better. It’s bold, playful, and just plain fun! A 10/10 experience, would absolutely do it again,” the band says.

Pairing Megan and Nickelback made sense for the same reason Cheetos Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle works: sometimes the most unexpected combinations drop the biggest banger.

“The Cheetos fandom made Cheetos Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle the fastest-selling limited-edition product in our brand’s history, and once they started demanding its return, there was no denying them,” says Tina Mahal, VP Marketing, PepsiCo Foods U.S. “We knew we couldn’t just bring back the flavor. We had to think bigger, be louder, and create a moment worthy of their passion. ‘Pickle’s Back’ is exactly that.”
