Ram Krishnan is the Chief Executive Officer of PepsiCo North America, where he leads our Foods and Beverages portfolio across the US and Canada. As CEO, he is driving an ambitious agenda to integrate Foods and Beverages operations and enable us to better meet the needs of both consumers and customers. He is also focused on evolving the portfolio to help ensure PepsiCo delivers meaningful choices that reflect changing consumer preferences.
Previously, Ram was CEO of PepsiCo Beverages US, overseeing all aspects of PepsiCo’s Beverage business in the US, as well as the Global Away From Home business. This included brands like Pepsi, Gatorade, Mountain Dew, poppi, Propel, Starbucks, Lipton and a strategic distribution partnership with CELSIUS.
Since joining PepsiCo in 2006, Ram has held several senior leadership roles of increasing responsibility, including CEO of International Beverages and Chief Commercial Officer of PepsiCo. Ram oversaw PepsiCo’s International Beverages agenda, which encompasses the company’s Global Concentrate group, Franchise operations, Global Beverage group, SodaStream and Beyond the Bottle. He also led the Global Commercial organization which focused on Customer Strategy, Revenue Management, Go-to-Market, E-Commerce, Lipton, Beyond Joint Ventures, and PepsiCo Venturing Group. Additionally, he worked closely with PepsiCo’s CEO to transform and scale the company’s Commercial Data & Digital capabilities.
Previously, Ram led key global commercial and regional businesses, including serving as CEO of Asia Pacific, Australia/New Zealand and China (APAC) Region, overseeing the global Walmart Customer Team, and serving as Chief Marketing Officer at Frito‑Lay North America. Earlier, he spent six years with GM’s Cadillac division.
Ram has won numerous product innovation and advertising industry awards and serves on the Board of Directors of the Tractor Supply Company. He holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and an MS, BS in Engineering.
