The pantry has officially entered its multitasking era. It’s no longer just where the canned goods get stacked, the cereal lives, and the crackers go to be forgotten. For busy families, it has become part breakfast station, part lunchbox lifeline, part hydration hub, part snack drawer and part “what can we make in 10 minutes?” dinner solution. PepsiCo is helping meet that shift with foods and drinks built for more moments across the day.
What is a do-it-all pantry?
A do-it-all pantry is stocked with foods and drinks that support daily needs — from breakfast and lunchboxes to hydration, snacks, energy and easy meals. It’s a practical response to a familiar question: How can one grocery trip help make the week feel easier? With the right staples on hand, families can avoid last-minute store runs and move through busy routines with more flexibility.
Why are families rethinking pantry staples?
New PepsiCo research shows parents want pantry options that are not only convenient, but more purposeful. In a PepsiCo Foods survey, 78% of parents said they want salty snacks to contain protein1, while 77% believe snacks can help increase fiber intake1. At the same time, 62% of Americans said they are looking to increase their protein intake in 20261. Together, those findings point to a pantry shaped by protein, fiber, hydration, portability, value and options that can flex across more than one occasion.
What belongs in a do-it-all pantry?
In the snack aisle, that can look like PopCorners Protein Zesty Cheddar with 9 grams of protein per 1-ounce serving, Smartfood FiberPop Sweet & Salty with 6 grams of fiber per serving or Good Warrior Beef Sticks with 10 grams of protein. It can also look like snack cups of PepsiCo favorites like Lay’s Stax or mini canisters of Cheetos — small enough for a lunchbox and easy enough to eat on-the-go.
