PepsiCo supports associates and communities in Israel and Gaza

Around the world, PepsiCo associates have been shaken to see the lives of so many impacted by violence and tragedy, including the lives of our own team members. We grieve together and extend our deepest condolences to those who have lost family members, friends and close colleagues.

Our continued focus is on the safety and well-being of our employees in the region. We have been and will continue to monitor the situation to determine how we can best aid and support all of those in need in Israel and Gaza. This work has already begun, including helping with immediate housing, food, childcare, mental health support and other necessities as possible to those displaced or otherwise impacted.

At the same time, we are working closely with partners in the region to understand how PepsiCo can extend more direct assistance on the ground to help all impacted communities. Most immediately, the PepsiCo Foundation has pledged a $1 million donation to humanitarian organizations that are focused on urgent relief efforts in Israel and Gaza. Further, the Foundation has matched employee contributions 2:1 made to eligible nonprofits providing direct assistance to the region.

In addition, our market teams and bottling partners throughout the region are also supporting humanitarian relief efforts in cooperation with local organizations.

As a result of these collective efforts, PepsiCo system donations of more than $3 million are being directed to those most in need. And thanks to the generosity of our employees, there will be more to come.

PepsiCo will continue to do what we have always strived to do — offer support to our colleagues, our partners, and the communities we are so proud to call home in all parts of the world.
